InfoDay 2022 in Martinic Palace on Hradčany Square
For this year’s InfoDay on Tuesday, 15.11.2022, more than 100 guests, speakers and exhibitors had traveled to the beautiful Renaissance premises of the Martinicky Palace right next to Prague Castle.
There were ample opportunities for personal and business discussions. Exhibition booths were set up in the foyer, presenting innovative IMA products and demonstrators from European projects with IMA participation.
The first block of talks introduced the new developments at IMA over the last year, not only in regard to its products but also in regard to the personnel. The InfoDay was the first opportunity to introduce the new company leadership as of July 2022, when Karel Kalivoda succeeded Tomáš Trpišovský in the position of company CEO. Tomas Trpisovsky will continue to take care of research and development activities at IMA and will define the long-term strategy of IMA within the WITTE group. Introducing the new leadership, one of the Executive Directors, Mr. Tomas Jindra, said, “WITTE Automotive invested in IMA because it saw great potential in the field of identification and access control systems. IMA holds extensive intellectual property that is applicable to the automotive industry as well as to IMA’s existing business. Thanks to IMA’s participation in international development projects, the technical level of both areas can grow together. This is also why WITTE has supported and will continue to support the growth of IMA in its traditional business and in its relationships with existing and future partners. Among the existing ones, WITTE particularly values the long-term positive relationships between IMA and Škoda Auto, ČEZ, CTU and others.“
The second block of presentations was devoted to new and innovative results from the field of research and development. Information on selected international projects in which IMA is involved, not only in the automotive sector, was followed by demonstrations of new technologies from IMA and its international project partners.
Afterwards, the guests could enjoy a varied social program, consisting of the performance of the dance group DanceWay, a sparkling wine tasting with a sabrage demonstration (heading the bottles with a saber) and a guided tour of the castle, thanks to which they could gain an insight into the secrets of the Renaissance lifestyle.
The organizers look back on a successful IMA InfoDay 2022 and are already looking forward to the continuation next year.
